It’s that time of year again where we all dress up just to sit in the living room all day and eat food! But really, fall is easily one of my favorite seasons to dress for and Thanksgiving is no exception! Need help picking out what to wear this year? I’m sharing 5 of my favorite outfit combos that are sure to make you be best dressed in the living room!
-
PLAID
For classic fall style, opt for an oversized flannel or shacket. Whether you wear it with your favorite jeans or a mini skirt to add a little class, you’ll look cute, cozy and oh-so-trendy. To add a statement to your outfit, try some plaid pants instead of jeans!
2. SWEATER DRESS
A good sweater dress never goes out of style! Whether you like your dresses fitted or flowy, there’s so many ways to style them. Pair it with a printed shacket, cropped sweater or long coat for a more layered look. This is sure to be a versatile piece in your closet all season long and easily the comfiest for Thanksgiving!
3. CASUAL SWEATER + JEANS
When in doubt, a sweater and jeans can never go wrong! If you’re looking to keep it simple and comfortable this year, this is definitely the outfit for you! Comfort is KEY when you’re eating 3 plates of food in one sitting! Grab a pair of light wash denim and a neutral sweater and you’re set for the day. Pair it with some chunky boots for an effortless look.
4. LEATHER LOOK
Give us alllll the faux leather! It’s no secret that faux leather everything has been all the rage this season so take the holidays as an opportunity to snag that pair of faux leather pants you’ve been eyeing! The contrast between the fabrics really adds a trendy and elevated aspect to your outfit. Pair this with a sweater or simple blouse for a sophisticated look.
5. TRENDY GAL
If you’re wanting to step out of your comfort zone with clothes this season, try this combination! A modern version of “preppy” is coming back and these pieces are must-haves to achieve that look. A flouncy collared blouse or sweater with statement sleeves is the way to go. Style with your favorite pants and cute loafers or boots to complete your look.
That wraps up my picks for Thanksgiving 2021! With all of these options, I’m still undecided what to wear! What’s your go-to look for the holiday season? Happy Thanksgiving and I hope everyone has the best week spent with family and loved ones.
