So maybe you’re one of the lucky ones still in college and have your spring break beach trip already planned with your best friends. For the rest of us, it’s that time of year where we start dreaming of vacations and wishing we didn’t have this thing called a “job” to worry about! Regardless, we are all seeing swimsuits hit all the major retailers right now and are excited about the warm weather on the way and all the vacations coming up!
But let’s be honest.. it’s HARD to shop for swimsuits. I’ve always found it hard to find that middle ground where my budget and good quality meet. It seems as if every swimsuit is either $100 for the top and bottom separately or $10 from SheIn and probably see through. For me personally, I like to prioritize swimsuits that I feel good in because I know I will wear them for years! As cute as a swimsuit may be, if I don’t feel confident in the way it fits me and how I feel in it, I find myself hardly ever wearing it.
For this reason, I tend to invest in one good swimsuit each year and get a few cheaper trendy ones.
I’ve rounded up some of my favorite places to shop, including those for cheap/trendy swimsuits, good quality swimsuits, and that perfect middle ground. I’ve included what I look for in each place and my favorites for this year!

#1. AERIE
Aerie is one of the rare retailers that has that perfect sweet spot of good quality and good prices! To me, they are just one step above Target (which I also love).
They have so many cutie bikinis this year and I love how they show them on REAL bodies!
#2. SHOW ME YOUR MUMU
Show Me Your Mumu may be my favorite brand of all time..and it’s because they kill it in every category they do. Their swimsuits are SO GOOD this year!!

#3. EVERYTHING BUT WATER
When I’m looking for a good quality swimsuit, Everything But Water never lets me down. Some of their brands are pricy, but they have some great middle of the road priced brands as well.
My favorite brands to shop here are Becca, Bound by Bondage, and PQ Swim.
#4. REVOLVE
Revolve has always been my go-to when looking for a swimsuit for a special occasion. Yes, they are on the higher priced end, but I know that I can find something super trendy and unique because of the AMAZING brands they carry!
My fave brands to shop on Revolve are Frankies, Montce Swim, Tularosa, and Eberjey.
#5. AMAZON
I love finding a few cheaper bikinis on Amazon every year! With their prime shipping and returns, I don’t mind ordering a few and sending back what doesn’t work.
BEST TIP: Click on the ratings of each swimsuit and go through customer photos! Usually there are so many reviews that you can scroll until you find a body type like yours. It’s so great to be able to see it on previous customers because a lot of times there stock photos can look very photoshopped.
